The 18 Month Apprenticeship Program provides structured hands-on training, guided learning, and practical experience designed to develop skills and prepare participants for long-term success in the ICS role.

Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Focus on BHCM Certification, NPI registration, and foundational policies and procedures.

Phase 2 (Months 4–6): Introduction to integrated care
fundamentals and healthcare IT systems training.

Phase 3 (Months 7–12): Development of advanced care
coordination skills, PRSS certification, and support for special populations.

Phase 4 (Months 13–18): Emphasis on leadership development, quality improvement initiatives, and completion of a capstone project.
